A woman from Stony Brook and a man from Ronkonkoma were pronounced dead on the scene.

Police are investigating a head-on collision Saturday night on Smithtown Ave. in Ronkonkoma that killed a driver and a passenger, police said Sunday.

Andrea was my best friend, and she was the kindest girl I ever knew. She touched everyone she met, and always put others before herself. She was kind, generous, compassionate, and I miss her more and more every day. Heaven gained an angel.
