Tools Reported Stolen from LIPA Substation in East Setauket

The Suffolk County Police Department responded to the following incidents between Aug. 26 and Aug. 31.

• Tools were reported stolen from the LIPA substation on Nesconset Highway in East Setauket on Aug. 26. According to a police report, saws, sledgehammers and other tools were taken sometime between Aug. 23 and Aug. 26.
• A resident of Julia Circle in Setauket reported Aug. 31 that someone damaged two tires on a 1999 Nissan parked at the home.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

• Elizabeth Febus, 38, of Holbrook, was arrested Aug. 30 in South Setauket and charged with third-degree grand larceny, a felony. Police said Febus, an employee at Home Depot, allegedly made fraudulent returns at the store between June 16 and June 12.
• A 22-year-old Centereach man was arrested Aug. 31 in South Setauket and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, after being found allegedly with a controlled substance on Bette Ann Drive.
