Police are investigating a robbery on the Stony Brook University campus Friday.
The college's Emergency Management website posted a "Campus Safety Advisory" at 1:30 a.m. stating that university police were "investigating a report of an alleged Robbery in the vicinity of O'Neil College."
No weapons were used and the suspects fled the scene, the message said.
At 4 a.m., another message stated that university police and Suffolk police "conducted an extensive search of the campus and surrounding areas" for suspects, but those searches "yielded negative results."
Officials said the victim was still being interviewed Friday morning and was unable to provide a further detailed description of the suspects.
