Suffolk County Police are asking for the public's help as they seek two men who robbed a CVS in Terryville near the East Setauket border at gunpoint and knifepoint earlier this month.
Police said that on Feb. 5, around 4:20 a.m., an employee of the store on Route 347 was forced to the ground by a man with a knife after being forced to give up cash from a register, and was assaulted after.
Both men fled the store in the direction of Old Town Road.
The suspects were both described as black males, one of whom was wearing a red and black jacket, blue jeans, and was holding a handgun. The other was wearing a black sweatshirt with white designing, a white shirt, red gloves, and was in possession of a knife.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crimes Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential, and up to $5,000 is offered for information that leads to an arrest.
