Robert Cesarski, 43, was arrested in Holbrook early Wednesday.

A registered sex offender was arrested Wednesday in Holbrook for failing to report a change of residence, police said.

Robert Cesarski, 43, was arrested at 3:35 a.m. after police executed a search warrant at 336 Hauser Avenue.

Cesarski, a Level 3 sex offender–considered to be the highest risk to repeat the offense–is charged with felony failure to report change of residence. Under New York Corrections Law, a Level 3 sex offender is required to report a change of address within 10 days.

Police tracked down Cesarski after a tip from Suffolk County Parents for Megan’s Law triggered an investigation by detectives of the Suffolk County Police Special Victims Section.

Cesarski's last registered address on the New York State Sex Offender Registry is 13 Plane Tree Lane in St. James.

Cesarski was convicted in 2009 of second degree sexual abuse: sexual contact with a person less than 14 years old. Cesarski was sentenced to six years probation.

Sex offenders very rarely get jail in new york state. Its disgusting and dangerous. If you go on the nys sex offender registry you can look up what the sentence was and its always pathetic.

My question is what is going to happen to him now? I live on this block and wonder if he is going to get a slap on the wrist and be back "home" tomorrow. Any ideas how I look into this?
Sal Anthony February 12, 2014 at 11:35 PM
Nothing is going to happen to him he will get another slap on the wrist. These sex offenders are more protected than the poor victims. Over and over again this happens to children and norhing happens in NYS. We have all seen this before. Protect your family's!!!

It has been a great help for everyone, especially to people who have experience being harassed in his/her life. Sex offenders can be anywhere, we must take any initiative on how to deal with them and how to protect ourselves from them. This law that the government is planning is a good way of eliminating harm to any individual. We will be secured from this kind of unnecessary treatment. Another suggestion to have a certain safety application on android phone that helps track sex offenders on your phone, and just a click on a panic button it could create a conference call to a 24/7 call center, a safety network and could escalate a call to a nearest 911 if it's a real emergency, check this site out for more http://bit.ly/1eA4HIQ

Who is the demented Judge who gave him this NON sentence!!! These LIB hacks are detroying lives by letting these predators roam free in society!!!!
Patchogue Snoop February 13, 2014 at 10:15 AM
How about a penal colony for these predators!!! Of course the LIBS will scream and whine about human rights of course tramping the victims rights as usual.

Does anyone know where this guy works?
David lee February 24, 2014 at 02:20 PM
Yes he works for Con Edison. He is a supervisor who drives around Con Eds territory unsupervised in a company vehicle. There are two major work locations next to schools. One school is on 45th street and first ave in Manhattan which is foots steps from Con Ed tunnel head house where he supervisors A tunnel crew and there's a city park across the street where daycare children go to play in the warmer months. All the Con Ed employees there use the bathroom in the park. There is a sign at the entrance of the park saying No adults without the company of a child is aloud to enter...The other school is at another work location under the Broadway bridge in Manhattan There is a school one side and a shopping plaza on the other. He can watch children anywhere he wants freely. Con Edison knows hes a sex offender and yet he still roams the city streets. Is this the Image Con Ed. wants? He should lose his $100000.00 a year job and then see how hard it is to get employed as a convicted pedophile! Oh I Forgot to mention he has a young child as well .

Wait, this guy is the son of Lucifer? I would think that would be a bigger story than than him just failing to report a change of address...
