Police Seek Pair Wanted for Grand Larceny
Two people allegedly used a stolen credit card to make purchases at several local stores, including Sports Authority in Stony Brook.
Police are seeking the public's help in finding two individuals who allegedly used a stolen credit card belonging to a Stony Brook woman to make purchases at Sports Authority.
The victim reported Aug. 5 that her wallet was stolen from her purse while she was shopping at Costco in Lake Grove, and later reported that her credit card was used to make purchases at several local stores.
Police provided the following descriptions of the two suspects:

- A white male around 40 years old with a stocky build, wearing wire-rimmed glasses, blue jeans, and a silver watch on his left wrist.
- A heavy-set black female with light skin and straight hair that was pulled back.
