Police Investigating Trio of Burglaries in 1 Day

Incidents occurred Oct. 15.

Suffolk police are investigating three burglaries that occurred in Three Village on Oct. 15.

In one incident, an unknown person broke into a home on Ada Lane in East Setauket through a glass basement window in the rear of the home between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. The thief took assorted electronics and a safe containing jewelry.

In another incident, a thief forced open a rear basement window of a home on View Road in Setauket and stole jewelry and a locked box containing cash sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

In Stony Brook, someone broke a window of a home on Sycamore Circle between 9:20 a.m. and 4 p.m. and stole jewelry and cash.
