Suffolk County police are investigating an incident of arson that occurred early Monday morning involving a car fire at an Ivy League Lane home.
According to police reports, a woman who was outside letting her dog out at around 3:22 a.m. noticed smoke and flames inside her car, which was parked in the driveway.
No one was in the car, a 2009 Honda Accord, at the time of the fire.
A police spokesman said there was no indication that the fire was related to fireworks, but it is still under investigation.
