Police Blotter: Arrests Made for Drugs, Harassment and Larceny

This week's arrests and incidents in Three Village.

  • Police reported an incident of harassment Sept. 14 at Ward Melville High School in East Setauket in which a fight took place.
  • Police reported an incident of criminal mischief Sept. 12 at King Kullen in East Setauket in which an individual hit and kicked a car, causing damage to the passenger-side front door.
  • Jamel Truitt of Middle Island was arrested Sept. 12 in Stony Brook for alleged second-degree harassment after throwing a cell phone at and striking another individual in the back of the head.
  • Bruce Leftakis of Patchogue was arrested Sept. 12 in Setauket-East Setauket for alleged DWI.
  • Police reported an incident of petit larceny Sept. 11 at the Verizon store in Stony Brook in which two cell phones were stolen.
  • John Moscarelli Jr. of Setauket was arrested Sept. 10 in Setauket-East Setauket for alleged second-degree harassment and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
  • Gregory Weisman of Setauket was arrested Sept. 10 in Setauket-East Setauket for alleged unlawful possession of marijuana.
  • Jessica McNamara of Ronkonkoma was arrested Sept. 10 in Stony Brook for alleged operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs.
  • Police reported an incident of harassment Sept. 10 in East Setauket on 18th Street for which no further information was available.
  • Police reported an incident of aggravated harassment Sept. 10 in Poquott in which an unknown individual harassed a resident of White Pine Lane via telephone.
  • Police reported an incident of grand larceny Sept. 9 in which a purse was stolen from a vehicle at Jefferson's Ferry in East Setauket.
  • Paul Teti Jr. of Huntington was arrested Sept. 9 in Setauket-East Setauket for alleged petit larceny.
