Police: Armed Thief Robs 7-Eleven Store on Pond Path

Suffolk County police said Tuesday they are investigating an armed robbery that took place March 9 at the 7-Eleven on Pond Path in Setauket.
According to police, a black man described as six feet tall with a skinny build, entered the store at approximately 3:40 a.m., displayed what appeared to be a handgun, took cash and fled the store southbound on Pond Path in a black Honda CRV. Police said the thief was wearing a red hat, sunglasses, gloves, and a dark shirt and pants.
