Man Hospitalized, Charged with DWI After Three-Car Crash

Injuries were described as non-life-threatening.

A three-car accident Monday night in Setauket resulted in a DWI charge for a man who was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, according to a report published Tuesday in Newsday.

Police told Newsday that a Chevrolet Blazer overturned and a Saab and a Mercury were also involved in the crash, which occurred at 10:47 p.m. at Route 25A near one of the entrances to Stony Brook University. The driver of the Saab, who has not been identified, was the one charged with DWI.
