The Stony Brook Fire Department and the Setauket Fire Department responded early Wednesday evening to a fire alarm in the Student Union building on the campus of Stony Brook University, The Stony Brook Press reported Wednesday.
According to the report, students were evacuated for about 45 minutes while fire crews cleared the building after a burning ventilation motor set off the alarm.
