Incident Report: Graffiti Left at Sycamore Circle Park
Police responded to three incidents between June 18 and June 22.
• Vandals hit Sycamore Circle Park once again, marring the gazebo and picnic tables with markers and spray paint. The graffiti was reported Saturday and is thought to have been done sometime between noon on June 15 and noon on Saturday.
• A resident of Walnut Avenue in Poquott reported June 18 that someone entered the house through a rear bathroom window and stole an iPad sometime between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.
• Police also responded to an incident at Via Pizza in East Setauket in which someone pried open a rear door sometime between 10:15 p.m. on June 20 and 8:25 a.m. on June 21. No one was able to actually enter the restaurant, police said.
