Crimes Nearby: Tire Thefts Stump Cops, Multiple Drug Arrests Made

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

COMMACK

Three Commack residents went out to their cars on the morning of Sept. 21 to find their wheels were missing. Suffolk County police are reporting a series of car tire thefts in Commack that happened between 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 20 and 7 a.m. on Sept. 21. Police are searching for witnesses or residents who might know anything about those cases, which were reported on Deepdale Drive, Schuyler Drive, and Rensselear Drive.

 

MILLER PLACE-ROCKY POINT

Abdulmacid Kesici, 20, of Sound Beach, was arrested Sept. 21 in Coram and charged with first offense DWI and criminal mischief with intent to damage property. While driving a 1997 Subaru Impreza northbound on Peacock Court, he allegedly struck a parked car and a home. He then allegedly punched the first floor window of the residence on Peacock Court.

Jason Sexton, 29, of Lake Grove, was arrested Sept. 20 in Mt. Sinai and charged with DWAI combined drugs and alcohol. Sexton was arrested on Route 25A at Wylde Road, Mt. Sinai. While stopped for a traffic violation, his speech was slurred and he was unsteady on his feet, according to police.

Alicia Hadley, 24, of Holbrook, was arrested Sept. 20 in Mt. Sinai and charged with first degree operation of a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs. Hadley was arrested after police allegedly witnessed her driving at a low rate of speed, then speeding up and slowing down again and failing to maintain her lane of traffic. She was stopped and arrested for being impaired by drugs, police said.

Richard McGee, 25, of Sound Beach, was arrested Sept. 18 in Miller Place and charged with possession of a hypodermic instrument and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was arrested on Route 25A, Sound Beach, at approximately 12:42 p.m. He was found to be in possession of two bags of marijuana and upon search he had five hypodermic needles in his possession, police said.

PORT JEFFERSON

Two men got into a fight with an unidentified man in Port Jefferson on Sept. 16, sending one man to the hospital. Casey Terruso, 23, of Mastic, and Christopher Barwick, 29, of Bayport, were arrested and charged with assault. At about 3:35 a.m. Terruso and Barwick got into a fight with the victim in the Brookhaven Town parking lot on West Broadway, striking him in the head and face and sending him to the hospital. Police did not say which hospital he went to or what started the fight.

It is beyond reasonable to have salaries at that level and multiple administrators and assistants and directors and assistant directors and chairman etc. Teachers earn their fair share!

Another 60,70,80 to be laid off? My vote is NO!!!!
