Crimes Nearby: Pair Arrested for Alleged Drug Sales

The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

PORT JEFFERSON

Carlos Fabian, 31, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested Dec. 15 at about 4:40 p.m. and charged with two counts of second degree criminal sale of a controlled substance: 2 oz narcotic drug. The arrest is the result of an investigation of incidents that occurred on Feb. 9 on Champlain Street and March 10 by Kool Place in Port Jefferson Station.

Carlos Mosquea, 25, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested Dec. 19 and charged with one count of first degree criminal sale of a controlled substance: two ounce narcotic drug and three counts of second degree criminal sale of a controlled substance: half ounce narcotic drug. The arrest was part of an investigation from incidents that allegedly occurred on Jan. 19, Jan. 27, Feb. 14, and Feb. 17.

Jeanine Romano, 42, of Port Jefferson, was arrested Dec. 17 at about 12:13 a.m. and charged with second degree harassment. She allegedly pushed a police officer and resisted arrest on Howard Street in Port Jefferson.

Leyla Okdemir, 44, of Nesconset was arrested Dec. 19 in Nesconset and charged with possession of a forged instrument. She is accused of presenting a fraudulent Social Security card at the Department of Motor Vehicles in Hauppauge.

COMMACK

Joseph Worley, 44, of Ronkonkoma, was arrested Dec. 19 in Commack and charged with first offense DWI. He allegedly crashed a tan Buick into a tree on Iriquois Lane at 7:30 p.m.

MILLER PLACE-ROCKY POINT

Vikki Samsoe, 42, of Mount Sinai was arrested Dec. 16 at about 5:35 p.m. and charged with petty larceny and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. She reportedly took a sheet set off the shelf at the and then brought them to customer service, attempting to attain a refund. When she was being arrested police found the controlled substance.

Michael Martin, 35, of Rocky Point was arrested Dec. 21 at and charged with six counts of second degree burglary. The arrest is the result of an investigation of incidents that took place earlier in the year when Martin allegedly broke into houses and took jewelry, computers, and other goods.
