Crime Report: Woman Arrested for Stealing Socks

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Katrina Weidler, 21, of Islip, was arrested Nov. 20 at about noon and charged with petty larceny and false personation. She allegedly took socks from the Payless store on Route 347 and gave a false identification when questioned by police.

Joshua Gibson, 23, of East Setauket, was arrested Nov. 20 at about 2:20 a.m. and charged with first offense DWI. Police stopped Gibson on Route 347 in a 2004 Jeep.
