Crime Report: Three Arrests at Walmart, Rampage Over Emergency Phone Call

A blotter of the latest arrests and incidents in Three Village.

The Suffolk County Police Department's Sixth Precinct reported these arrests in Three Village during Nov. 13—20:

A Stony Brook man was arrested Nov. 16 in East Setauket and charged with petit larceny. Reports state Saini was at the Walmart located on Route 347 in East Setauket at approximately 8:50 p.m. and allegedly took property that did not belong to him, including two watches.

Anthony Gagliano, 34, of Wading River was arrested Nov. 16 in East Setauket and charged with petit larceny. Reports state Gagliano stole knives from the Walmart located on Route 347 in East Setauket.

Ian Hart, 22, of Stony Brook was arrested Nov. 16 in Stony Brook and charged with criminal mischief. Reports state Hart intentionally took the phone off the wall when someone was trying to make an emergency phone call.

Marion McClure, 46, of Central Islip was arrested Nov. 13 and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and grand larceny. Reports state McClure allegedly placed unknown items in a shopping cart and attempted to leave without paying at the Target located on Pond Path in South Setauket. While McClure was being placed under arrest, reports state police officers found her to be in possession of marijuana.

None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed above. They are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. If any of the above charges have been acquitted, in order for removal from publication, one must contact the writer and provide proof of dismissal.
