Crime Report: Police Investigating Multiple Criminal Mischief Incidents
The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Suffolk County police are investigating three separate incidents of criminal mischief in the East Setauket area, including:
- On June 8 at approximately 8:30 a.m., an unknown person pushed an air conditioner through the window and broke the frame at a home on Lynx Lane.
- On June 9, a resident of Archer Drive reported the cable wire to the home had been cut while the occupant was out of town.
- A resident of Old Town Road reported that four tires were punctured on a 1996 Pontiac Firebird parked in the driveway between 7:30 p.m. on June 4 and 7 a.m. on June 5.
Gloria Pampinella, 59, of Stony Brook, was arrested June 7 at 8:20 p.m. and charged with first-offense DWI. Pampinella was stopped by police after allegedly running a stop sign while traveling southbound on Bennetts Road in Setauket.
Danielle Tortomas, 38, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested June 7 at 11:45 a.m. and charged with petty larceny. Tortomas allegedly stole multiple items from Walmart in East Setauket.

Barbara Bosconi, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested June 7 at 11:45 a.m. and charged with petty larceny. Bosconi allegedly stole clothing, cosmetics and a dog leash from Walmart in East Setauket.
