Crime Report: Police Arrest Three for DWI, One for Heroin Possession

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The Suffolk County Police Department's Sixth Precinct reported these arrests in Three Village between Aug. 26 and Sept. 7.

Mathew Dymski, 21, of Lake Grove, was arrested Sept. 7 in Setauket and charged with DWI. Reports indicate Dymski was allegedly driving a 2004 Ford Explorer while intoxicated. Police said he was involved in a crash on Route 25A in Setauket at approximately 12:28 a.m.

Nicholas Salerno, 21, of Rocky Point, was arrested Sept. 5 in Setauket and charged with first offense DWI. Reports indicate Salerno was arrested for allegedly driving a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee on Main Street in Setauket while intoxicated. The incident occurred at approximately 2:07 a.m.

Vincent Arneo, 21, of St. James, was arrested Sept. 4 in Stony Brook and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Reports indicate Arneo was arrested for alleged heroin possession at Lake Ave. 

Sarah Holzhauser, 33, of South Setauket, was arrested Sept. 2 in Setauket and charged with petty larceny. Reports indicate Holzhauser allegedly stole merchandise including stockings and men’s apparel, concealed in her handbag at Walmart. The incident occurred at approximately 9:40 p.m.

Peter Morrongiello, 47, of Setauket, was arrested Aug. 26 in Stony Brook and charged with DWI first offense. Reports indicate Morrongiello was arrested for allegedly driving his 2002 Chevy Monte Carlo while intoxicated. Reports indicate the incident involved a crash and occurred at approximately 9:50 p.m on eastbound Route 347.
