Crime Report: Heroin Bust and Forgery Charge Among Recent Arrests

A blotter of the latest arrests and incidents in Three Village.

The Suffolk County Police Department's Sixth Precinct reported these arrests in Three Village from March 2 through March 8.

A seventeen year old resident of Port Jefferson Station was arrested March 8 in Setauket and charged with petit larceny. Reports state the teen allegedly stole food and cosmetics from a store located at 3990 Nesconset Highway.   

Michael Plunkett, 51, of Fort Salonga was arrested March 8 in Setauket and charged with DWI. Reports state Plunkett was operating his 2006 Hyundai at approximately 8:44 p.m. and was involved in a motor vehicle accident. He allegedly failed a sobriety test following the accident.

Alicia Damico, 21, of Stony Brook was arrested March 6 in Stony Brook and charged with fourth degree grand larceny. Reports state Damico allegedly stole her mother’s purse.   

Robert Colson, 40, of East Setauket was arrested March 5 in Setauket and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and resisting arrest, and had a previous warrent for his arrest. Reports state at approximately 5:10 p.m., Colson allegedly possessed a large quantity of heroin and resisted arrest.

Ryan Kraus, 19, of Setauket was arrested March 2 in Selden and charged with criminal mischief. Reports state at approximately 12:15 p.m., Kraus allegedly broke the driver side window on a 2006 Honda.    

Michael Marcik, 36, of Stony Brook was arrested March 2 in Stony Brook and charged with second degree forgery. Reports state on Sept. 6, 2010, Marcik allegedly signed a woman’s name to a credit card purchase without permission.    

None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed above. They are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. If any of the above charges have been acquitted, one must e-mail the writer and provide proof of dismissal.
