Crime Report: False Police Report Made

A blotter of the latest arrests in Three Village.

The Suffolk County Police Department Sixth Precinct reported these arrests in Three Village during Nov. 21—27:

Ted Routi, 23, of Stony Brook was arrested Nov. 24 in Stony Brook and charged with making a false incident report with Suffolk police. Reports state Routi was arrested at The Bench located on Route 25A in Stony Brook after making a false 911 call about the presence of a gun. 

None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed above. They are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  If any of the above charges have been acquitted, in order for removal from publication, one must contact the writer and provide proof of dismissal.
