Crime Report: Court Order Violation, Resisting Arrest, and Stolen Items

A blotter of the latest arrests in Three Village.

The Suffolk County Police Department Sixth Precinct reported these arrests in Three Village between Dec. 18–26:

Patrick Ryan, 21, of East Setauket was arrested Dec. 24 in East Setauket and charged with second degree criminal contempt and disorderly conduct. According to reports, Ryan was issued a court order to not possess, consume, or purchase alcohol or illegal drugs. Reports state Ryan allegedly violated that order and struck a female in the face with a beer bottle at Mulcahy's Pub.    

Arlene Parsley, 43, of Central Islip was arrested Dec. 22 at Stony Brook University and charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs.  Reports state Parsley allegedly struck a vehicle on Route 25 and Moriches Road in Lake Grove while impaired by drugs.

Demetrios Pentheros, 52, of Stony Brook was arrested Dec. 21 in Centereach and charged with petit larceny, aggravated unlicensed, resisting arrest, and fourth degree grand larceny. Reports state Pentheros was pulled over while driving without a license on Middle Country Road in Centereach.  Upon being pulled over, he allegedly resisted arrest and was in possession of stolen items, including a 40 inch television, blueray players, a blueray theater system and two vacuums.   

Drew Kunze, 32, of Stony Brook was arrested Dec. 19 in Stony Brook and charged with second degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime, but were arrested for the charges listed above. They are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  If any of the above charges have been acquitted, in order for removal from publication, one must contact the writer and provide proof of dismissal.
