Crime Report: Burglary, DWI Charges Among Recent Arrests

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

John Maggio, 20, of Stony Brook, was arrested May 8 in Setauket and charged with second-degree burglary. Maggio allegedly enered a home on Balin Avenue in Centereach and stole property.

Christopher O'Rourke, 25, of West Islip, was arrested May 11 in Stony Brook and charged with DWI with previous conviction in 10 years. Police stopped O'Rourke after he ran a red light at the intersection of N. Country Road and Route 25A, and was allegedly found to be intoxicated.

Jeffrey Fair, 25, of Ronkonkoma, was arrested May 11 and charged with first-offense DWI. Police stopped him over at 2:10 a.m. at the corner of Nicolls Road and Route 25A and was allegedly found to be intoxicated.

Zunaid Azad, 24, of Centereach, was arrested May 11 and charged with first-offense DWI. Police stopped him for speeding on Route 25A and was allegedly found to be intoxicated.

James Gordon, 35, of East Setauket, was arrested May 8 and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vechicle. Police stopped him in Route 110 in North Amityville at 10 p.m. He allegedly possessed prescription pills that were not his.

Jerrod Lafonte, 26, of Stony Brook, was arrested May 8 in East Setauket and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police stopped him at a business located at 5000 Nesconset Highway in East Setauket and allegedly found heroin in his car.

Crystal Almonte, 22, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested May 9 at Kohl's in East Setauket and charged with petty larceny for allegedly stealing clothing.

A 16-year-old girl from Port Jefferson Station was arrested May 9 at Kohl's in East Setauket and charged with petty larceny for allegedly stealing clothing.

Jonathan Rullan, 21, of East Setauket, was arrested May 11 in Mastic Beach and charged with second-degree harassment after he allegedly punched another man at a residence on Whittier Drive.
