Crime Report: Alleged Drunk Driver Crashes Into Woods
The following information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Bishal Dey, 19, of Woodside, was arrested Feb. 17 and charged with first-offense DWI. Police say Bishal was driving northbound on Nicolls Road when he went through a red light and crashed into a wooded area at the intersection of Nicolls Road and Route 25A at approximately 2 a.m.
Mark Salerno, 23, of East Setauket, was arrested Feb. 19 and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police observed him sitting in a vehicle on Ridgefield Drive in Shoreham at 5:35 p.m.
Nicholas Halliday, 29, of Stony Brook, was arrested Feb. 21 and charged with criminal mischief. Halliday allegedly wrote on the walls at the Long Island Head Injury Association with a marker.
