A resident of Indian Valley Road in Poquott has reported the theft of a bicycle valued at more than $1,000, according to a police report.
The bike, a blue Trek Madone road bike, was taken from an open garage sometime between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Sept. 13.
Suffolk County police are investigating the theft as an incident of fourth-degree grand larceny.
