We live up the street from where this took place. We go to this gas station all the time. The man who was shot is a very sweet man who always had a smile on his face for me and my kids. About 2 mins before this happened we were going to stop there and get gas. My husband at last minute kept driving. We would have been there when it happened with my 4 and 8 year old in the car. When we were driving back it was blocked off with cops everywhere and k9s sniffing up and down my street. I'm praying they catch this person and praying for the victim and his family but also thank god my husband didn't stop. It's sad I don't safe in my own home anymore.
