2 Missing Cats Rescued From Sewer by Firefighters

These cats almost were spared the use of their nine lives.

Two local cats are safely back with their owners after members of the Setauket Fire Department pulled them from a sewer on Friday afternoon.

The cats had not been seen by their homeowners for two days when they were pulled out of the sewer in a neighborhood off of Pond Path. According to the fire department, the furry felines were retuned uninjured to their owners.
