Which Frozen Dessert Spot is Your Favorite?

Whether it's Italian ices, frozen yogurt, gelato or ice cream, tell us which place you like the most.

The frozen dessert trend is a hot one in and around the Three Village area.

Ralph's Italian Ices in Stony Brook and Bella Dolce in Setauket have been around the longest, along with the Brook House in Stony Brook, which serves ice cream in addition to its regular menu. Then came Red Mango locations in Stony Brook and Port Jefferson. Around the time Red Mango arrived, Yogo Delish in Port Jefferson opened its doors. Much more recently, the doors opened at Cool Monkey and Sweet Frog, both in Stony Brook, within a week of each other.

Have you had a chance to try any of these frozen treat offerings? Which one do you like the most, and why is it your go-to place? Log in to Patch and tell us in the comments below.

everyone should research what all the school administrators are raking in and the multple levels ofRead More staff that exists at TVCSD. It is beyond reasonable to have salaries at that level and multiple administrators and assistants and directors and assistant directors and chairman etc. Teachers earn their fair share!
Reality Check May 15, 2013 at 08:01 pm
Last year we lost 20 staff...this year we are losing over 50 meanwhile the remaining staff isRead More getting a 6% raise...the UNION is eating itself and ruining our school and the BOE is not dealing with the situation..the benefits are up nearly 13% this year...what do you think will happen next year? Another 60,70,80 to be laid off? My vote is NO!!!!
