Is Your Web Site Working for You?

Here are a few questions to ask yourself about your current web site design.

Is your website providing valuable information to your visitors?

If most of your visitors only stop by your website only once, it could mean that they have found nothing of value. One tip is to try to add value-rich content to your website! Keep your site current, add interesting helpful information and keep them wanting to come back for more! Perhaps a weekly special, a monthly contest, valuable coupons, or just up to date articles on your field of expertise.

Are you using a Content Management System such as WordPress?

WordPress is a CMS (Content management system) that allows you to create new pages, articles, portfolios, etc – All on your own! Once your web designer has your site in place, editing it on your own is as easy as logging in, making a change and clicking publish! It also allows you to receive and respond to comments from your readers if you wish to use this option to interact with clients directly!

Is your web site Responsive?

Do you have a smart phone, ipad, or another mobile device? Have you checked out what your website looks like on any or all of these devices? Now-a-days, website designers are creating and re-designing websites that respond to the size of the device the user is viewing your site from! By not having a responsive web design, you are not catering to a large portion of your potential market and in the process losing money and business! Read more about Responsive Web Design Here!

Are you taking advantage of Social Media?

One way to help get your site noticed, and to get the word out about your products or services is through social media marketing. It also helps get your web site higher ranked in the search engines. If you dont already use social media sites such as Facebook, twitter, instagram and pinterest, consider what you may be losing out on! Take a look at the article we recently published on our web site about how social media marketing can help you!

Is your site optimized for Search Engines? (SEO)

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the visibility of a website or a web page in search engines via the “natural,” or un-paid (“organic” or “algorithmic”), search results. In general, the earlier (or higher ranked on the search results page), and more frequently a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine’s users.
