Ronald McDonald Family Room Volunteers “Wrap It Up” for Children & Families this Holiday Season at Holiday In Express Stony Brook
- On Wednesday, December 18th at 10 am, the Holiday Inn Express Stony Brook will generously open its doors and donate their space at 3131 Nesconset Hwy., Stony Brook, NY 11720 for the first annual “Wrap It Up” Luncheon to benefit The Ronald McDonald Family Room at Stony Brook Children’s Hospital (Family Room), an extension of the Ronald McDonald House of Long Island (RMH-LI). Family Room volunteers will wrap holiday gifts for the families and patients of the hospital, which will be distributed during the month of December. The items were donated by community members, schools and organizations. All are welcome to join us at the “Wrap It Up” luncheon!
The Holiday Inn Express Stony Brook is known for giving back to the community, continually raising funds for Stony Brook Children’s Hospital and other organizations throughout the year with their monthly art gallery receptions and other initiatives including the annual Taste of The Three Village event, Barkfest, and the Brookhaven Community Leadership Award Program.

“We are very appy to be involved with the Ronald Mc Donald house, they are located right in our own backyard” said owner of the Holiday Inn Express Stony Brook John Tsunis. “As a past chairman of the Stony Brook Long Island Children’s Hospital Task Force, I personally recognize the importance of supporting those in need of assistance, especially this time of year”.
