East Setauket Vet's office turns away dog

After rushing to Dr. Templeton's office with my dog who I thought was choking this morning at 9:30, I was sent away by his vet technicians . The dog was in clear distress and I was frantic. I  pleaded with them for help; they did nothing. I had to race to Selden emergency hospital  even though I live 2 minutes from Dr. Templeton's office. I have taken my dogs to his vet techs for other issues when Dr. Templeton is out, but today they refused to help. There wasn't a single person in the office. Clearly the best interest of animals is not a priority here. My dog had a wood chip wedged in his teeth that caused him great distress . It was a simple thing to remove, thank goodness. It should have been removed by these vet techs, not Selden Emergency Hospital. What a disgrace.
