Menorah Lightings in Three Village

THe menorah will be lit in Hanukkah celebrations across our area. Find out where here.

Often referred to as the Festival of Lights, Hanukkah is celebrated over eight days. Here are some local spots where they will light the menorah.

-The St. James Chamber of Commerce will light the menorah beginning Nov. 27 at the triangle at Route 25A and Lake Avenue at 4 p.m. on Friday and 5:30 p.m. on other days. Treats each night.

-The Nesconset Chamber of Commerce will hold a menorah lighting at 6 p.m. inside the gazebo on Smithtown Blvd. 

-The North Shore Jewish Center at 385 Old Town Rd. in Port Jefferson Station, will host a lighting of the menorah followed by the school's performance of Maccabee games, refreshments will be served, registration appreciated but not required.Dec. 4 at 6 p.m.


-The congregation of Temple Beth Emeth of Mount Sinai Hanukkah celebration with an outdoor menorah lighting, Hanukkah songs, and hot chocolate on Wed. at 4 p.m. at North Shore Heritage Park in Mount Sinai
