Santa Claus is coming to town to light the Christmas tree on the Village Green this Sunday in Stony Brook village.
The day will be filled with events with live music from WALK-FM beginning at 1 p.m. Visitors can stop by the Ward Melville Heritage Center to see the model train display, check out the petting zoo and walk the 70 decorated trees set up in the Promenade of Trees.
Santa arrives at 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. and then comes back again via the fire department's 3,000 light float at 5:30 p.m. to light the tree.
Admission is free.
