Village People: Medical, Financial Professionals and Students Lauded

Movers and shakers in Three Village.

Michael J. Benanti, DO, of East Setauket, of the Department of Imaging Services at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center, as well as the chairman of radiology for the eastern division of Catholic Health Services of Long Island. Benanti has served as Good Samaritan’s section chief of neuroradiology since 2000.

Beverly Wendt, a 36-year resident of Three Village, is a financial services leader with Atlantic Financial Partners Group who will be inducted into John Hancock Financial Network’s Hall of Fame. With more than 26 years of service in the financial industry, Wendt has been the recipient of numerous awards for serving clients. She is also a past president of the Three Village Kiwanis Club.

Ward Melville HS senior Daniella Tarquinio and Stony Brook School senior Christopher Raciti have been honored by the Mather Hospital Auxiliary. The awards, ranging from $500 to $2,000, are given to high school seniors who are active junior volunteers, have completed a minimum of 300 hours of service and demonstrated excellence in volunteering.
