Photos: Circle of Friends Lights the Christmas Tree
Local girl scout troops gathered with the residents of the Stony Brook S-Section to light the tree and collection food and coat donations.
Friends and neighbors in Stony Brook's S-Section, along with a special guest clad in red, gathered together Thursday evening for their annual Christmas tree lighting courtesy of some hard working local girl scouts.
Santa Claus arrived via the Setauket Fire Department on a fire truck and spent a few minutes taking photos with the kids. Residents brought canned goods and coats for drives held by girl scout troops 2457 and 2277.
