Man Pays-It-Forward Buying Free Drinks at Nesconset Starbucks

Anonymous man buys gift card and asks it be used to pay for other drive-thru customers' drinks.

What better way to start off the New Year than with an unexpected free cup of coffee, well, it sure put smiles on the face of Nesconset's Starbuck customers

A generous man, who declined to be identified, purchased a $90 gift card at the Nesconset Starbucks on Smithtown Boulevar and asked the shift manager to use it to pay for the drink of those customers ordering through the drive-thru, Newsday reports.

Lisa, a shift supervisor at Starbucks who declined to give her last name, said the donor is a regular at the Nesconset Starbucks.

The generous move surprised many Starbucks customers to learn their drink had been paid for and some even contributed money to keep it rolling. The free drinks lasted roughly for one hour and filled 30-40 orders.
