14th Annual Breast Cancer Victory Day at Mather Hospital

Geralyn Lucas, author of Why I Wore Lipstick to My Mastectomy, will tell her inspirational story at the 14th Annual Breast Cancer Victory Day at Mather Hospital. The annual gathering is a day of triumph and togetherness for anyone who has been touched by breast cancer. Festivities begin at noon, with some of the guests arriving via the Long Island Rail Road's complimentary Victory Train from Penn Station to Port Jefferson. Breast cancer survivor Irene Trelfa of Sound Beach will also address the gathering. The free event will include exhibitors, including the nationally accredited Fortunato Breast Health Center at Mather, and vendors. A healthy boxed lunch will be provided to all registered guests.
