Picture Perfect: Smartphone Photography

During this unique photography class with Amanda Fehring, students will learn and discuss photocomposition basics, how social media works with photography, and creating an intriguing photo with your smartphone! Throughout the workshop students will work hands on with lighting, composition, focal points, depth of field, etc.  Using these techniques, students will head outside around the Gallery North campus to create their best smartphone photo.

Watching her mother take photographs of the beauty surrounding her since a young girl, Amanda Fehring has always had a passion for photography. Born and raised in Montana, she began a college degree in history at the University of Montana, later transferring to the Academy of Art University to pursue a degree in photography. A few years ago, Amanda and her husband began to call New York City home in pursuit of doing what they are most passionate about.
