Peter Mayer at UUFSB

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at Stony Brook announces that Peter Mayer will perform a special concert.  On any Sunday morning, you can hear Mayer’s songs ringing from the rafters of liberal Christian churches and Jewish synagogues, humanist meetinghouses, and other religious and social organizations from coast to coast.  For nearly 20 years, he has been writing songs for a small planet—songs about interconnectedness and the human journey; about the beauty and the mystery of the world.  He is a songwriter and performer so good that even a luminary such as Janis Ian says of him, "I’m a huge Peter Mayer fan, but only when I don’t feel like killing him for being so good. I love Peter’s work, though it irritates me that he plays so much better than I do. If I rocked half as hard as Peter does, I’d own the world by now."   His music can be heard at www.petermayer.net and tickets can be purchased online at www.uufsb.org/peter-mayer.  631-751-0297.
