Oil Painting with Angela Stratton

In this exciting two-day workshop geared for beginners and intermediates, Angela will teach students how to start and complete a painting using the ‘alla prima’ (direct painting) approach.  In addition to learning how to mix and use oil paints, students will have the opportunity to discuss color, values and edges.

During day one, Angela will go through each step of the process, providing time for students to apply what they have learned on their own canvas.  On the second day, students will freely complete their painting, given individualized instructor attention.

All students will work from the same still life setup.
