The Total Joint Replacement Program at John T. Mather Memorial Hospital will offer a free informational breakfast seminar on Saturday, June 7, 2014 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at the Swan Lake Golf Club in Manorville.
Orthopedic surgeons will discuss the different conditions that lead to joint deterioration and pain, and the surgical options available for hip and knee replacement. Pre- and post-operative care, rehabilitation,insurance and other related topics will be covered by Mather Hospital representatives. A question and answer period will follow.
Mather Hospital's operating suites are specially equipped for orthopedic surgery and feature computer-navigated systems that assist in minimally invasive knee replacements. Mather also has a comprehensive pre- and post-operative program that provides patients with everything they will need to achieve a successful outcome.
