Stem Cell Research - What is it all about?

Dr. Ute M. Moll, MD.,  Vice Chair, Research, Professor of Pathology, Department of Pathology, Stony Brook University will be discussing the biology of stem cells and the benefits of therapeutic and reproductive cloning. She will also discuss stem-cell treatments, and despite clinical disagreements, their potential use in regenerative medicine. She explores how approved use of stem-cell treatments will require long-term systematic research.
