On Sunday, February 3, Vine 2 Wine will be hosting a complimentary wine & cheese pairing from 3-6pm. The wines features will be Relativity Vineyards Quantum Reserve 2007 as well as Domaine de Negly l'Oppidum Sauvignon Blanc 2011. The Sauvignon Blanc uses grapes from a rented vineyard at Colombiers. This Sauvignon features quite a ripe, pithy nose. There is a firm presence of green pea fruit, with a very explosive fruity character. The acidity as well, is exactly where it should be. The wines are handpicked, and brought to Chateau Negly for vinification. The Quantum Reserve is a delicious blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Charbono, and Grenache. The deep palate shows black raspberrym pepper, and chocolate notes, followed by rich, layered flavors of dark berries, allspice, and licorice. Soft, lingering tannins round out the finish on this luscious choice. Join us!
