Drawing Sketch Class with John Mansueto

This class is for you if you are relatively new to drawing and want direction on how to proceed.You will learn how to draw from a still life set up enabling you to develop a better hand-eye connection. Each student will receive personal instruction and technical advice based on their drawings during the session.

Classes are offered in 3-week sessions

Session 1: Wednesday June 4th, 11th & 18th                                               Session 2: Wednesday July 2nd, 9th & 16th                                                  Session 3: Wednesday July 30th, August 6th & 13th

Fee: $180/session

JohnMansueto is a fine art landscape painter and freelance illustrator formally educated at Parsons School of Design where he graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor of Fine Art.  John has illustrated children’s books, worked at JMR graphics, and was the staff artist at the Fire Island Tide Newspaper. Inspired by captivating landscapes, John seeks out diverse locations of interest all over Long Island and captures them on canvas using a distinctive technique allowing him to create a unique sense of realism.
