“Trio Artica” Classical Trio will perform at Crossroads Church, Stony Brook, on Friday evening, January 10, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. “Trio Artica”, composed of Jinwen Tu, piano; Christina McGann, violin; and Agnes Kallay, cello are the recent winner of the 2013 Ackerman Chamber Music Competition.
The members have studied at The Julliard School, Oberlin College, the
Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Hochschule fur Musik, and the
doctoral program at Stony Brook University. "Trio Artica" was most recently featured in the Ackerman Honors Chamber Recital, the Beethoven Festival at SBU, the East Bank Music Series, WMP Concert Hall in New York City and as guest artists at Ohio University and the Liszt Academy in Budapest. The public is invited to attend. There is a $5 per person requested donation.
