Civil War re-enactment with the 67th New York Volunteers
10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
An encampment with tents and volunteers in period uniforms will interact with the general public, teaching them about the Civil War.
Home Grown String Band
11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. & 1 p.m. - 2 p.m.
Traditional and original music inspired by the rural string bands that recorded during the 1920s and 30s, as well as all the great American roots music that followed. Playing a brand of Americana, the Jackofsky family continues the tradition of American folk music.
Birds of Prey Demonstration
1 p.m. - 2 p.m.
Sweetbriar Nature Center representative will introduce owls, hawks and a falcon. Learn about some of our native species of raptors and how these amazing creatures survive in the wild.
Bring your own chairs and blankets to sit on.  Open to all and no registration is required.
All events are on the library lawn and weather permitting.
