We're your new, online source for daily news and information.

Thanks for visiting Three Village Patch, your community's new, online source for daily news and information. We hope you'll visit us each day for new stories and pictures from around the Three Village area.

Three Village Patch hopes to give you a chance to get involved in the community by signing up for a (free!) Patch user account. By doing so, you'll be able to share your own news such as the birth of a child, a family wedding, a promotion at work, awards and honors – even your upcoming garage sale. You'll also be able to share your own pictures and comment on stories. We also welcome opinion pieces and letters to the editor.

Let's take a tour of the site:

We'll stay in touch with police and fire officials and report on crime or fire in the area.  We'll be on top of the business community with profiles and news that affects the local economy. We'll hear from arts organizations and let you know about performances in the area. And if you're a die-hard fan for local sports teams, we'll let you know the score. We'll get opinions from local leaders or anyone with a good point to make.  And if you have something you want to sound off about, let us know. Finally, we'll shine a spotlight on volunteers in the area.  You'll see profiles of their extraordinary work and we want to hear from you about your efforts to make Three Village even better.

Finally, please don't hesitate to reach out with a news tip or suggestion for how we can improve Three Village Patch. You can call me at 631-276-1679 or e-mail me, Christine Sampson, at christines@patch.com.

So, essentially that first residential home is being written off as the price of doing business.Read More There goes that property value. Other than as a professional residence, who would want to live by a driveway for that traffic? As for the entrance Village Automotive, that will bring even more traffic to an already busy intersection nearby. 25A is impassable/impossible in that area for large chunks of the day now.

The rezoning is for the acres of undeveloped residential land across from Ann Maries Farm stand,Read More extending down to the wooded area on 25A. A one way entrance would be placed by Village Automotive and a one way exit would come out on N. Country Rd. adjacent to the first residential house.

Can you tell us where this property is? An address or street name?

I the BOE and Union didn't allow the majority of the budget be spent on benefits and salaries maybeRead More there would be money left for supplies. With declining enrollment and cuts to programs for our kids they only ones making out are teachers and staff with too generous salaries and benefits. Vote no on Tuesday!

Seriously? We are asked to send in enough supplies per kid each year to supply 5 kids. Where does itRead More all go? It gets lost, thrown out, or ends up back in the students home via backpack. The problem is not the lack of supplies, but a lack of personal responsibility. But if we send in enough supplies each year for ten or fifteen students, then we might be able to avoid the underlying problem.

everyone should research what all the school administrators are raking in and the multple levels ofRead More staff that exists at TVCSD. It is beyond reasonable to have salaries at that level and multiple administrators and assistants and directors and assistant directors and chairman etc. Teachers earn their fair share!
Reality Check May 15, 2013 at 08:01 pm
Last year we lost 20 staff...this year we are losing over 50 meanwhile the remaining staff isRead More getting a 6% raise...the UNION is eating itself and ruining our school and the BOE is not dealing with the situation..the benefits are up nearly 13% this year...what do you think will happen next year? Another 60,70,80 to be laid off? My vote is NO!!!!
