Week in Review: Hit-and-Run in Stony Brook, Water Rescue in Old Field

A recap of the week's biggest headlines.

The Stony Brook University community suffered a loss Thursday night when a 21-year-old student was while riding his bicycle on Nesconset Highway. Police later found the driver based on witnesses' information, and determined he was allegedly high on drugs.

In other news, the Setauket Fire Department executed a on Thursday. And on a more frequent basis around town; some have called it a nuisance after losing vegetation to the deer.
