The Week Ahead: School in Session Monday; Budget Meeting Thursday

A few changes on the schools front this week are noted here. Other than that? Fun is on the agenda. Patch wishes you all the best as you celebrate the holidays with family and friends.

1. Because of the impact of the February blizzard, Three Village students will attend classes on Monday. The rest of the week, school will be off for spring break, including the observance of religious holidays.

2. An extra school budget meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, March 28, at 7 p.m. at the North Country Administration Center.

3. This is the week that Stony Brook University's baseball team will play a game at Citi Field. The Seawolves take on St. John's on Tuesday at 4 p.m. – click here for details.

4. Benner's Farm is hosting a week of "spring break fun." Click here for details.

5. The Holiday Inn Express, Suffolk Legis. Kara Hahn, and Stony Brook Long Island Children's Hospital are co-hosting a free Easter Egg Hunt on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Express at Stony Brook. To sign up, send an email to HIEStonyBrook@aol.com.
