The Week Ahead: Public Hearing on Housing, SEPTA Fundraiser

Now that it's Monday once again, let's get down to business with a look at some notable dates coming up this week.

1. The Brookhaven Town Board will meet on Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Town Hall in Farmingville. One of the agenda items is a public hearing on changes to town codes that involve so-called illegal rooming houses.

2. Three Village SEPTA will meet on Monday at 7 p.m. and Minnesauke Elementary, and on Friday will host a fundraiser at The Bench at 4:30 p.m.

3. For anyone interested in running for school board, Monday is the last day to return candidate petitions to the district clerk. Must be in by 5 p.m.

4. Physical Therapy & Beyond will host a talk on osteoporosis on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at its office on Belle Meade Road.
